Hello! This time, I will introduce the material of the figure, especially the main thing used for Moe figure. Moe figures are valued for quality after all. If it is for children, there are soft vinyls suitable for mass production (the contents are hollow). Most moe figures are packed with contents using PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a synthetic resin, that is, an artificially synthesized resin or plastic rather than naturally derived. Moe figures are mainly made of this PVC and another type of plastic, ABS (Acrilonitrile butadiene styrene).
【PVC】 Polyvinyl chloride, flexible and easy to process. Because it is easy to handle even at the stage of figure production and can produce quality, it is the most used material in Moe figure. 【ABS】 Achrylonitrile butadiene styrene. Because it is hard, durable and resistant to temperature changes, it is used for the pedestal of the figure.
Basically, the main body is PVC and the pedestal is ABS. If you check with the figure you have, I think that you can feel the feeling of being different in the body of the character and the pedestal part.
